These terms apply to the UKVI SELT Simulator app and this website, published by ACS Co., Ltd. (エーシーエス株式会社), Japan. By using the product you accept them.

What this product is

UKVI SELT Simulator is independent practice software. It lets you rehearse the format of a Secure English Language Test speaking exam against an AI examiner.

What this product is not

• It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to UK Visas and Immigration, the Home Office, Trinity College London or LanguageCert.
• It does not book, register or arrange any exam for you. You book your SELT with an approved provider yourself.
• It does not issue any qualification, certificate or result that any authority recognises.
• It is not immigration advice. Nothing here tells you what your visa requires — check that with the Home Office or a qualified adviser.

About the scores and reports

Every report is an estimate produced by software from a single practice session. It is there to show you what to work on. It is not a prediction of your exam result, and we do not guarantee that practising here will make you pass. Automatic speech scoring is imperfect and can be wrong, particularly with background noise or a strong accent.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account. Do not use the product to break the law, to disrupt the service, or to try to extract or resell its content.

Purchases, cancellation and refunds

Passes are one-off purchases, not subscriptions. Nothing renews automatically and there is nothing to cancel. A pass removes the daily practice limit and opens every pack at every level for its stated period.

All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google is the seller, they charge you in your own storefront's currency, and the price they show at the moment of purchase is the price that applies — prices shown on this website are indicative.

Because refunds are processed by the store and not by us, refund requests go to Apple or Google directly:

Digital content is delivered immediately on purchase. Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase, but that right is lost for digital content once delivery has begun with your agreement. Your statutory rights — including the right to a remedy if the product is not as described or not of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — are unaffected by anything in these terms.

Free tier

Signing in unlocks the lower-level packs, limited to three practice packs a day, with the counter resetting each morning. We may change what the free tier includes.

Availability

We try to keep the service running but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or withdraw features.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for the outcome of your real exam, for any visa or immigration decision, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you get the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the UK, and you can bring proceedings in the UK courts.
